Well, I was right in my first post here that I’d have exciting news before long… the only problem was, I couldn’t tell you about it! But now that I’ve been given the green light, I am so excited to share that my debut novel, The Valley and the Flood, is forthcoming from Razorbill/Penguin in fall 2020, exact date TBA. The story follows Rose, who, on the drive home from a disastrous visit with her late best friend's parents, chases a mysterious broadcast to a strange little desert town bracing for a disastrous flood... and she learns that not only is she the prophesied bringer of said flood, but that the key to stopping it lies in confronting the trauma she's tried so hard to ignore. I’ve been describing it as “an Odyssey remix by way of Twin Peaks.”

I’ll be back soon to tell you a little more about the book, how I came to write it, and its journey to publication!

Hey friends! My guest spot on Worst Bestsellers is live! Check me out talking Five Nights at Freddy’s (and its surprisingly engaging tie-in book series) with Kait and Renata here!

First of all, hello and welcome to my new website! Content is going to be a bit slow around here at first while I get settled in, but I hope to have fun things to add soon. In the meantime, a few updates:

- On Wednesday, October 31, The Bridge Podcast will return from its hiatus with Episode 14: The Enemy of Good. That means you’ve got three weeks to catch up before our return. Get ready!

- I also recorded a guest spot on Worst Bestsellers over the weekend with the fabulous Kait and Renata, though - spoiler alert - we actually all enjoyed the book. Will update with a release date shortly!

- I recently saw The Nun a second time. It remains a glorious trainwreck. This isn’t really personal news, I just wanted to share that with you.

I hope this fabulously spooky month is off to a great start for everyone. More soon!
